Grossman,Stefan aus: WORLDS OF MUSIC
Der 1945 in Brooklyn geborene Blues-Gitarrist, Lehrbuchautor und Produzent lernte bei Reverend Gary Davis. Grossman transkribierte Tonbandaufnahmen von Blues-Musikern in ein eigenes Tabulatur-System. Diese veröffentlichte er mit Kassetten und Schallplatten als Gitarrenlehrwerke.
Grossman gründete die Even Dozen Jug Band und war Mitglied der Fugs. Mit Rory Block nahm er die LP "How To Play Blues Guitar" auf. 1973 gründete er das Plattenlabel "Kicking Mule Records".
