Der US-amerikanische Pianist und Komponist wuchs auf Hawaii und in Los Angeles auf. O’Halloran studierte am Santa Monica College und formierte mit Sara Lov 1996 die Band "Devics". Als Filmkomponist arbeitete er u.a. für Sofia Coppola ("Marie Antoinette"). Er lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.
