Strange Fruit  aus: WORLDS OF MUSIC

Der von Abel Meeropol komponierte Song wurde in der Version, die Billie Holiday 1939 in New York einspielte, bekannt. Der Text von "Strange Fruit" ("sonderbare Frucht") wendet sich dabei gegen die Lynchmorde in den Südstaaten der USA. Eine weitere eindringliche Version stammt von Nina Simone.
